L.I.F.E.Christmas Party

The kids had a whale of a time. We fed four hundred and had Christmas carols in the blazing heat. This might be the only Christmas gift some of them will get. The Government gives money for one meal a day and an afternoon snack for the kids after school. The communes look after the people in their area (Community) and feed them. We normally help the communes with after school help and cooking classes and this was the Christmas party for all communes. Everyone had on their Sunday best and it was like one gigantic picnic with whole families enjoying the fun. We played games, skipped, painted faces, had drawing and colouring sessions and fed and watered everyone. The helpers had a fabulous time too.
