Torres Del Paine

Torres del Paine national park is home to Glaciers, beautiful scenery of lakes and mountain tops. It is named after its three granite towers that dominate the landscape and is one of the world’s most remote places. My friend Olivier and I did the W walk staying overnight at refugios so that i didn’t have to carry a heavy backpack. We passed glaciers, forded rivers, crossed some rickety bridges and communed with local cows and sheep. Valley Frances and Glacier Grey were highlights. Taking photos of the sunsets on our trek was particularly beautiful and taking photos when we reached the towers was spectacular though waiting for the clouds to disperse was a freezing wait.
