New Orleans
Land of Jazz, Mardi Gras and festivals my trip to New Orleans was fantastic. We found great jazz in the evenings on Frenchman street and missed the craziness of Bourbon street. Mardi Gras was just round the corner so many houses were starting to decorate for this fun festival. I finally went to a Deep South Bayou. The old Southern buildings, lovely Southern food and friendliness made my day. The famous New Orleans Pat O’Brien’s Hurrican drink was too much for me and gave me my first hangover in many years! No wonder New Orleans is a party town where you can walk about with your drink in your hand! and yes! I did eat oysters but deep fried with tons of garlic so it could have been anything!
